My Radley handbag collection started in 2004 and grew rather quickly. I mainly have signature bags although not all of them. Going in age order:-
The oldest in the large shoulder version of the 2002 beach huts the first picture bag that Radley produce, this cost me a small fortune on ebay and is only the fourth I didn't buy from new from a shop!
Next is a penguin shoulder bag also from 2002.
My second favourite is my armchair/fireside grab bag from 2004, although it is a grab bag it has a shoulder strap ( can't cope with grab bags I'm not Zaphod Beeblebrox ) which is great.
Then along came 2004 with the release of Radleys garden and the explorer bag. Now the Explorer bag marked the beginning of the end for me as it was a grab bag, just a grab bag, no shoulder strap, is this the beginning of the end I thought? Also sneaking into 2004 was their first ever true limited edition bag with the secret cottage. I bought mine from ebay and it is very special indeed. ( let you think about that)
Next in the collection is my up, up and away bag, which I paid to have a shoulder strap added too and use a lot. Followed by away day with doesn't get used as it is a grab bag, but is so beautiful it should.
